Booking Terms

General Policies:

  • Passengers must arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for check-in and trip preparation. Passengers not on board at at scheduled departure time will not receive a refund and if you choose to re-book for another tour no discounts will be provided.
  • Our tours operate on minimum passenger loads. If a tour is unable to operate due to the minimums not being met you will be provided advanced notice and may choose to re-book at a later date or receive a full refund for no charge. 
  • We reserve the right to alter, cancel or change itinerary based on availability, weather, equipment failure, animal location or other factors beyond our control.
  • The minimum age for guests is ten (10) years old for "People Water Land" and "Great Bears of Bute" tours, and four (4) years old for "Whales Wildlife and Culture" tours.
  • Passengers travel at their own risk. We are not responsible for injury, death, damage or loss which may occur as a result of your voluntary participation in our tours.
  • Passengers may be filmed/photographed during the ride and we reserve the right to reproduce such films/photos for any purpose whatsoever.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service and end a tour with no refund provided if guests:
    • Are believed, at our discretion, to be under the affect alcohol or drugs
    • Are not complying with the directions of our crew, which includes mask-wearing and other safety policies
  • All adult passengers are required to complete a waiver prior to departure.

Customer requested rescheduling and cancellations:

  • Any cancellation or postponement by the customer requires written notice to us, and written confirmation from us before the booking is to be considered cancelled or postponed.
  • Any cancellations by the customer for regular, non-charter tours which are received less than 48 hours prior to the tour date are non-refundable and subject to full payment
  • Any cancellations by the customer for private, charter tours which are received less than 30 days prior to the tour date are non-refundable and subject to 50% payment

 Our right to cancel:

  • We reserve the right to cancel the tour before and during the tour.
  • If the tour is cancelled, we will reschedule the tour at a mutually agreed date. This will be subject to availability and current bookings at the time.
  • If we are forced to cancel a tour you can:
    • Transfer / reschedule this booking to another date / time for no additional charge
    • Request a full refund.
